Gemma-Jane Cooper is an Australian lawyer with 10 years’ experience in civil and commercial work. In 2015-2016, she spent 12 months working as a fulltime volunteer legal consultant in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Her experience in Cambodia has given her a passion for development work, and provided an insight into the significant benefits that a well-managed NGO can bring to a disadvantaged community. Having now returned to Melbourne, Gemma-Jane has resumed her practice as a barrister
at the Victorian bar, specialising in common law claims for both plaintiff and defendant clients.
Gemma-Jane will be working on all of Lengo’s legal matters.
